The bond market
The bond market is a market for long-term interest securities. The bond market is used to issue interest securities that have maturities of more than 2 years.
Most bonds that are issued in the bond market are bonds of the straight type (coupon bonds). Bonds are issued by the National Debt Office, mortgage institutions, banks and companies. The bond market is a secondary market for long-term interest securities. The bonds in the bond market are standardized to facilitate the trade in them.
